Resistant to tears, cuts, abrasion, water moisture, and oil-based solvents, the cable can operate at temperatures ranging from -55°C to 125°C, and is resistant to many solvents, including salt water, gasoline, diesel, grease, and lubricants.

The pure copper, tin-coated cable lugs from WindyNation are heavy-duty and meet the standard for 486 WIRE CONNECTORS AND SOLDERING LUGS. The tin coating protects the copper cable lug from corrosion and oxidation, making them ideal for marine and humid environments. These cable lugs are perfect for outdoor installations on RVs, boats, cars, trucks, golf carts, or off-grid wind and solar installations.

Each cable that leaves the WindyNation warehouse is precisely cut on an automated robotic cable processing machine and double-checked for quality and accuracy before being shipped to customers. The included items are a pure copper cable (with selectable gauge, insulation color, and length), 5 pieces of 5/16" STUD copper cable lugs, 5 pieces of 3/8" STUD copper cable lugs, and 3 feet of black heat shrink tubing. The Power-Flex cable is an ultra-flexible, pure copper cable manufactured with a tough, solvent-resistant EPDM insulation jacket. The cable is SAE J1127 approved and uses annealed copper strands per ASTM standards. The copper cable lugs feature a pure copper construction with an exterior tin coating for corrosion protection, and a closed-end design to protect the cable from the outdoor environment (moisture, acid, and solvents). The cable lugs can be crimped or soldered, and have a flared barrel end design for easy entry of the cable.

The included heat shrink tubing is rated for 600 volts and can operate at temperatures from -55°C to +125°C. It is resistant to most solvents and fire-resistant, with a polyolefin material and a black color with no printing on the tube.
