It is resistant to many solvents, including salt water, gasoline, diesel, grease, and lubricants.

The pure copper tin-coated cable lugs provided with the Power-Flex cable are heavy-duty and meet the standard for 486 WIRE CONNECTORS AND SOLDERING LUGS. These cable lugs are ideal for marine and humid environments, as the tin coating protects the copper cable lug from corrosion and oxidation. They are suitable for a wide range of uses, including outdoor installations on RVs, boats, cars, trucks, golf carts, and off-grid wind or solar installations.

Each Power-Flex welding and battery cable is precisely cut on an automated robotic cable processing machine and double-checked for quality and accuracy before being shipped to customers. The product includes 8 AWG pure copper cable, 10 pieces of 8 AWG copper cable lugs, and 3 feet of black heat shrink tubing, allowing users to save time and money by purchasing all the necessary components in one product listing.

The Power-Flex cable is fully annealed pure copper, highly flexible with a high copper strand count, and features a tough, solvent-resistant EPDM insulation jacket. The cable conforms to ASTM standards, and the cable lugs are pure copper, tinned for corrosion protection, with a closed-end design to protect the cable from the outdoor environment. The wire can be crimped or soldered, and the lugs have excellent conductivity characteristics and a flared barrel end for easy cable entry.

The heat shrink tubing included in the kit has a maximum voltage of 600 volts, a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, and is resistant to most solvents and fire (polyolefin material). It is black in color with no printing.
